Fundraising Writing
Beginning during my time at Falk Laboratory School, I’ve relished the opportunity to write material that supports fundraising and advancement efforts. Since then, I’ve pursued this interest on a volunteer basis, writing appeals letters to gain knowledge and experience.
This focused inquiry into fundraising writing comes after more than 15 years of work writing for nonprofit clients across media including alumni magazines, foundation reports, websites, and annual reports. I like to think of my interest in fundraising as the natural outgrowth of my deep experience in the nonprofit space, and as yet one more way to help organizations tell their positive stories.
